IDLO in Africa

IDLO has a wide-ranging programmatic history on the continent, through the implementation of programs in constitution-building, legal reform, health, women’s rights, land rights, legislative capacity building, access to justice and more across the continent. Through our programmatic efforts, IDLO has established strong partnerships with key actors on the continent. IDLO’s has in different capacities worked in all five sub-regions of Africa and currently have offices in Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan and Tunisia.

IDLO’s programmatic work across Africa, both independently or as implementing partners, are in line with the continental and global development commitment. Each programme contributes in national efforts to achieve one or more of the aspirations and goals in the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063.
